I took the test (twice) and passed...

I got it in my head that getting the KLCP would be a motivating first step in to furthering my InfoSec aspirations. So I studied, took the test, ... and came up short. I had not studied, but more importantly, not applied the material in the enterprise section nearly enough. I got lazy and did not set up another machine to practice remote/automated installs on, for example.

All the other parts I did very well on, but the score came back just short of the necessary 80%, which is needed to pass. Since there is no cooling off period, all I had to do was sign up for another go, study and work the parts of the curriculum I had struggled with in particular, and voilà. Second time around was a pass!

At some point will I go for the coveted OSCP cert? Maybe... 🤷🏻‍♂️
